- You can now make Pullzip the default for zip, 7z and rar. The installer asks once, and the app — at first run and from Settings — shows what opens each type today before sending you to the Windows page where you confirm it. Windows does not let a program set that by itself.
- The table now covers six programs, with WinRAR 7.1 and NanaZip 7.0 added. Of the five that open ZIP, only Pullzip recovered the legacy Japanese names; Pullzip and NanaZip kept the Mark-of-the-Web, and only Pullzip refused the zip bomb.
- The comparison table was measured again on Windows, now including Bandizip: with default settings, 7-Zip 26.03 and Bandizip 7.46 both garbled the Shift-JIS names and left no Mark-of-the-Web on the extracted file.
- The comparison table is live: the same 33 samples run through Pullzip, 7-Zip, tar and Info-ZIP unzip, with the exact command each one was given.
- Update news now has its own page in every language, an Atom feed, and an in-app notice when a new version is out.
